Organ Specific Cell Therapy – How Does It Rejuvenate the Body?

One of the first things that clients often ask me is how does cell therapy rejuvenate the body? The answer is actually pretty simple once you understand both what we at ICBR do and how cells function. However, even an understanding of these processes doesn’t add up to the visible, tangible results you see when you look at our clients.

Take a few of our clients, for instance. First, S.M., a 61-year-old man had problems with comfort and functionality in his legs. He had been an avid runner in high school and wanted to regain some of the rush he felt running sprints. After cell treatments from ICBR, S.M. felt good enough to enter the Senior Olympics. He won medals in both the 50- and 100-meter dashes.

C.C. from Los Angeles is another prime example of what cell therapy for anti-aging can do for the body. At 81 years old, she is older than most of our clients, but that doesn’t stop her from doing what she loves—dancing. After treatment, she continued to teach ballet and perform in productions.

The folks who take advantage of cell therapy are usually in their 50s and 60s. This age is a crucial time in the aging process for maintenance because people start to lose the energy and enthusiasm they once had. Of course, it’s also a time when big changes happen—menopause and andropause both occur around this age.

Things slow down—even stop—as we age. Aging impacts the immune and endocrine systems the most profoundly. All these changes are what makes us feel and look older. Diseases like cancer and heart disease also disproportionately affect people during this time.

But these are also the factors that cellular treatment addresses during treatment. It’s for that reason—treating the cause of aging instead of the symptoms—that it is so effective.

What Classic Cell Therapy Is

Classic Cell Therapy, the type of cell therapy we practice at ICBR, is literally the injection of embryonic and fetal cells into the body. The cells we use are somewhat more mature than stem cells.

This is an important point, and one that I try to emphasize as much as possible. I really don’t want to misrepresent what we do. Our cells are more mature than stem cells—they are what scientists refer to as organ-specific cells at this point.

The purpose of Classic Cell Therapy is general rejuvenation and regeneration of tissue. Since it is an anti-aging treatment, we primarily work with the immune system, the endocrine system, and the connective tissue.

Think of what your body felt like in your 20s and 30s. Things felt better back then because your cells were better able to replace themselves. Cell therapy tries to replicate that rate of cell replenishment in bodies that have begun to decline.

What Classic Cell Therapy Does

When we inject those embryonic and fetal cells into the body, they migrate to their target organ. Remember that these cells are organ-specific? What that means is that they have the maturity to “understand” that they are a heart cell or a stomach cell, etc. Once they find their target organ—usually 30 to 90 minutes after injection—they set up a protein synthesis or a cell division rate that is faster than normal for the age of the person undergoing treatment. In some animal studies, that rate measures at 150 times the average.

Along with Classic Cell Therapy, we offer our clients a personalized program to help them feel better, including diet and exercise recommendations. But cell therapy is what makes everything work faster and more efficiently. It helps boost the immune system to fight off disease and help the body bounce back quicker. Our clients do look and feel better within a matter of months or even weeks. Each session builds on the last, and treatment usually comes to full fruition within a year.
