The first thing you should do is schedule a consultation. You may need an MRI to determine if you need cell therapy. An MRI will also rule out any conditions you have that may cause a delay in a cell therapy procedure. Your specialist will provide you with a list of dos and don’ts to help you prepare for your treatment appointment.

During and After Cell Therapy

Cell therapy is a fast procedure that takes under 1 hour to complete, in most cases. Your trained specialist sedates you, removes the cells needed for the procedure — from your bone marrow, for example — and injects them back into you fairly quickly. You are on the path to natural healing after the procedure. You can leave the treatment center as soon as the anesthesia wears off. Specialists recommend resting for up to 48 hours post-procedure and refraining from strenuous activities for at least two weeks.
